What is the story behind how the Buti Wada became Sai Baba's Samadhi Mandir?

📖 Chapter 39

The mansion known as the Buti Wada was originally intended to be a temple for the deity Murlidhar. Chapter 39 explains that Bapusaheb Buti sought Sai Baba's permission to install an idol in the central hall. Baba joyfully agreed, prophetically stating, "After the temple is complete, we too shall come to stay there." However, as Baba's health declined, Buti grew anxious that the expensive project would be in vain. By a fortunate turn of events and Sai's own command, Baba’s last words were, "Place me in the mansion." Consequently, Sai Baba’s holy body was placed in the inner sanctum originally built for Murlidhar, transforming the mansion into the sacred Samadhi Mandir.
