What is the spiritual significance of a creature dying in the presence of a great saint, according to the story of the tiger and Sai Baba?

📖 Chapter 31

According to the teachings presented in Chapter 31, dying in the presence of a great saint is not considered a true death but rather a profound spiritual victory. The text describes it as achieving 'Vaikuntha's (heaven's) bliss,' a moment where one conquers the mortal world and is freed from the sorrow of rebirth. Such an event is considered the 'earning of life' and an atonement for all sins, leading directly to the path of salvation. As stated in verse 151, when the body falls while being seen by a saint, it is not death but 'true self-salvation.' This ensures the creature is wholly redeemed and does not have to return to the cycle of birth and death.
