What is the significance of writing a Guru's biography as a form of service?

📖 Chapter 0

Writing a Guru's biography is an ancient and superior form of service, with its roots mentioned in the Narada Purana. According to the preface detailed in Chapter 0, a Sadguru accepts service from devotees in two primary ways: either by creating great works themselves or by having their biographies written by devotees. When a devotee undertakes writing a detailed biography, they perform Guru service. Moreover, as other devotees study and perform Parayans (devotional readings) of that biography, the author gains the merit of serving God in humanity (Jan-Janardan), and the readers also advance toward the purpose of their lives.
