What is the significance of the two flags used during the Ram Navami procession, and who provided them?

During the Ram Navami fair, a significant part of the celebration involves a grand procession where two large ceremonial flags are taken to the Masjid and tied at its two ends. According to the account in Chapter 0, these flags were provided by two devoted followers. One flag came from Damu Shet Kasar of Ahmednagar. The other flag was supplied by Ra. Shankarrao Raghunath Deshpande, more commonly known as Nanasaheb Nimonkar. Nanasaheb was a prominent leader and Honorary Magistrate who, after being introduced to Maharaj, developed immense faith and spent his final years in constant service. These flags symbolize the devotion of followers from different places.
