What is the significance of reading the Sai Satcharitra? Does it have any real effect?

The text states that wherever the Satcharitra is recited, that place becomes the monastery of Dwarakamai, and Sai Baba is surely manifest there. It is described as a straightforward path for devotees. The chapter further explains that by repeating the life story with faith, Sai is pleased in every way, and simply remembering him is enough to remove crises. Chanting his name daily is considered so potent that other means like penance or meditation are not necessary.
