What is the Shri Sai Satcharitra's teaching on the cycle of reincarnation and the pursuit of pleasure?

📖 Chapter 37

In Chapter 37, the Shri Sai Satcharitra explains that the cycle of worldly existence, or Samsara, is perpetuated by a fundamental ignorance. He who believes 'Parabrahman is different from me; I am not that' is subject to this cycle where death follows birth and rebirth follows death. The text also critiques the pursuit of sensual pleasure, arguing that it is ultimately futile. It boldly states that there is no difference in the quality of sensual pleasure whether one is in heaven or hell. To illustrate this, Chapter 37 provides the powerful analogy that the pleasure Indra experiences in his garden is of equal weight to the pleasure a donkey finds in a dung-heap.
