What is the Satcharita's perspective on the physical body for a saint like Sai Baba?

📖 Chapter 43

According to Chapter 43, the physical body for a perfected being like Sai Baba is merely an 'adjunct.' He is described as being devoid of bodily impulses, and the text questions how he could even experience birth or death since he is the complete Supreme Brahman. This perspective suggests the body is a temporary vehicle. It is stated that even if physical or mental illnesses arose due to past karma, a saint of his stature would have no awareness of them. His body appeared in Shirdi, 'gathered by the past merits of devotees,' for the specific task of their protection. Once that task was over, he willingly left the body behind, demonstrating its secondary nature to his true, unmanifest self.
