What is the relationship between Maya, imagination, and the states of bondage and liberation?

📖 Chapter 50

As detailed in Chapter 50, the entire illusion of the world of name and form is considered the confusion of Maya. This supreme Maya is described as very difficult to overcome. The text provides a crucial insight by stating that 'Whatever pulse of imagination occurs, that is the dwelling place of Maya.' This means that the states of both bondage and liberation are born from our own imagination. While the unassailable Vedic theorem states that 'Only from knowledge comes liberation,' one must first abandon Maya by resolve. This involves overcoming the imaginative pulses that create the illusion of bondage in the first place.
