What is the relationship between knowledge, detachment, and liberation according to the teachings?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 19

According to the teachings in Chapter 19, liberation is the ultimate fulfillment of human birth, but it cannot be achieved without knowledge. Furthermore, knowledge itself is not attained without detachment. The text explains that the idea of detachment does not even spark as long as the mind fails to perceive the world as transient. As long as ego persists regarding the body, intellect, and mind, the experience of pleasure and pain is unavoidable. Therefore, perceiving the transient, dream-like nature of the universe is the essential first step toward cultivating detachment, which in turn opens the path to the knowledge required for ultimate liberation.
