What is the relationship between ignorance (Avidya), worldly attachments, and the fear of existence?

πŸ“– Chapter 37

According to the teachings in Chapter 37, ignorance (Avidya) is identified as the root cause of all suffering. It is this ignorance that establishes the perception of manifoldness and duality. Where ignorance resides, attachments and bonds to worldly things like 'sons and cattle' arise, leading to constant worry about the world day and night. This state is devoid of good thoughts. To counteract this and the fear it generates, one must acquire knowledge (Vidya) through the scriptures and the Guru, which ultimately removes the perception of difference and the associated fear of worldly existence.
