As explained in Chapter 23, the incarnations of saints on this earth happen out of benevolence and are considered a grace of the Almighty. Their primary purpose is to bring about the salvation of dull-witted souls who are lost in worldly delusion. However, the chapter also notes that not everyone is ready to receive this grace. It states that only when a person has sufficient merit (Punya) in store will a desire arise in their heart to hear the stories of saints. This desire to listen to and learn from their lives is what ultimately leads to attaining happiness and contentment.
