What is the proper etiquette when visiting a Guru like Sai Baba? Is it okay to go empty-handed?

📖 Chapter 35

According to the principles mentioned in Chapter 35, it is considered improper to approach God, a priest, or a Guru with empty hands. The text explicitly states, "It is not good to go empty-handed to the door of God, a priest, or a Guru." Following this custom, a devotee named Kaka, on his way to see Baba, made sure to purchase an offering. He bought two seers of grapes to present to Baba upon arriving at the mosque for Darshan. This act of bringing an offering demonstrates respect and the right disposition when seeking the presence and blessings of a spiritual master, as illustrated in this account from Chapter 35.
