What is the primary obstacle in the Guru-disciple relationship and how can one achieve true spiritual success?

Chapter 19 teaches that the primary obstacle is the 'sense of difference like 'I and Thou',' which acts as a wall between the Guru and the disciple. Tearing down this wall is essential to reach a state of non-duality. The chapter further questions our mortality by asking, 'Who is immortal here?'
