What is the philosophical understanding of reality and illusion presented in Chapter 26 of the Sai Satcharitra?

📖 Chapter 26

In Chapter 26, the physical world is described as an illusion, or a creation of Maya. It is compared to a city reflected in a mirror or a dream that seems real but vanishes upon waking. The text explains that this entire visible world is a display of Maya and has no independent existence outside of the Self. This is illustrated with the analogy of mistaking a rope for a snake due to ignorance of one's true nature. As detailed in this chapter, this illusion of the world only dissolves with the attainment of true knowledge, which arrives when the time for awakening through the Guru’s word comes.
