What is the philosophical cause of being trapped in the cycle of birth and death (Samsara)?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 37

The primary cause of being trapped in the perpetual cycle of worldly existence, or Samsara, is a deluded sense of separation from the ultimate reality. Chapter 37 clarifies that when a soul, deluded by ignorance, holds the belief that "Parabrahman is different from me; I am not that, I am something else," they create a knowledge of difference. It is this perception of duality that subjects a person to death. The text states that for such an individual, death inevitably follows birth, and rebirth follows death, causing the cycle of Samsara to turn eternally behind them.
