What is the path to liberation for the soul, and what are the primary obstacles mentioned in the teachings?

📖 Chapter 19

The path to liberation involves knowledge and detachment, while the main obstacle is ego. Chapter 19 explains that as long as one possesses ego regarding the body, mind, and intellect, the sense of being a 'doer' and 'enjoyer' persists, leading to the unavoidable experience of pleasure and pain. This ego, the feeling of 'I am the body,' is called a false bondage. The text states that there can be no liberation without knowledge, and knowledge cannot be attained without detachment. This detachment sparks when the mind perceives the world as transient. The ultimate fulfillment and duty of human birth is to achieve this liberation, leading to eternity, fearlessness, and attainment of the Supreme Self.
