What is the path to achieving the spiritual goal through the Guru?

Chapter 45 outlines a clear path to achieving the spiritual goal through the Sadguru. The teaching states that Brahman is eternal while the world is transient, and the Guru alone is the true Brahman. The means to the goal, therefore, is to renounce the transient world and meditate solely on the Guru. This constancy of feeling cultivates dispassion (Vairagya). The Sadguru is described as a solid mass of Brahman-consciousness, and by focusing on him, a divinity arises in all beings, which is referred to as "undifferentiated worship" (Abheda-bhajan).
