Originally, it was worshipped with great devotion by Megha, who regarded it as the three-eyed Lord Shankar. The photograph's glass had broken, so it was sent from Shirdi to Nagar with Balasaheb Mirikar for repairs. After being fixed, it was kept covered in Mirikar's drawing room.
