What is the connection between the ego, the world (Samsara), and the attainment of the Supreme Self (Nivrutti)?

📖 Chapter 17

As detailed in Chapter 17, the worldly inclination or 'Samsara-pravrutti' is identified as the ignorant tendency of the soul, which is fundamentally rooted in the ego. The cessation of this worldly experience, known as 'Nivrutti,' is achieved through the attainment of knowledge of the Self. The text emphasizes a direct link: 'When the tendency of bodily ego dissolves, instantly cessation (Nivrutti) is established there.' This state is described as the soul's true state of the Supreme Self. Therefore, the dissolution of the ego is the pivotal event that transforms one's perception from the dualistic world of Samsara to the non-dual reality of the Self.
