What is Sai Baba's perspective on elaborate religious ceremonies and rituals? Does he require them from his devotees?

Sai Baba clearly states that he does not require elaborate rituals or a large collection of puja materials. As mentioned in Chapter 13, he says, "I do not need a collection of puja materials, nor sixteen or eight types of rituals." Instead, Baba emphasizes the supreme importance of pure, boundless devotion, or 'bhava'. He taught that where genuine devotion exists, he resides. He encouraged his followers to simply chant his name with faith, promising, "If you constantly say 'Sai Sai,' I will take you across the seven seas."
