What is Moksha or liberation, and how is it achieved according to the teachings in chapter 50?

📖 Chapter 50

According to the teachings presented in Chapter 50, Moksha, or liberation, is defined as 'abiding in one's own form.' This means it is not about reaching a different place or state, but about realizing one's true nature. The text explains that the soul is obscured by a 'causal body' which is born from 'pure ignorance' (Avidya). The path to liberation, therefore, involves removing this veil of ignorance. Chapter 50 is explicit that there is no other way to achieve this than through 'the knowledge of the unity of Brahman and the Soul.' When this profound understanding occurs, the ignorance that constitutes the causal body is removed, and one naturally abides in their true form, which is Moksha.
