What internal doubts did the author face before beginning this work, and what ultimately convinced them to proceed with writing it?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 2

Chapter 2 reveals that the author had significant doubts before starting the Sai Satcharitra. Firstly, they questioned the necessity of the book, wondering if it was needed when stories by Das Ganu and others already existed. Secondly, the author had deep personal insecurities, which are described in the text. Having crossed sixty years of age, the author felt their 'intellect is not sharp and feels empty' and feared that due to weakness, the effort might fail. The resolution came from two convictions. As Chapter 2 explains, the author realized Sai's life is a vast ocean that can never be fully documented, so any contribution is valuable. More importantly, the author decided the effort should be for Sai's love to achieve a spiritual goal, and came to trust that Baba himself would be the true author, guiding the pen. This shift from self-reliance to divine dependence is what allowed the project to move forward.
