What instructions did Sai Baba give to the author about compiling His stories?

Sai Baba gave explicit permission and encouragement for a collection of his stories, news, and experiences to be made. As detailed in Chapter 2, He told the author to keep a record and promised his full help, stating that the author was merely a pretext and that He Himself would write His own story. The primary condition was that the devotee must dissolve his ego and surrender it at Sai's feet.
