What instructions did Sai Baba give for the writing of his stories?

Sai Baba gave very specific instructions for the creation of his life story. As described in Chapter 2, He gave his full help and permission, stating that the author was merely a pretext and that He Himself would write His own story. Baba emphasized the importance of the author dissolving their ego and surrendering it at His feet. In return for this surrender, Baba promised not only to provide full assistance with the story but also to serve in all ways in the devotee's home. The work of hearing, reflecting, and writing would be accomplished by the One to whom it belongs, with the author just being the instrument.
