What information did the sannyasi Vijayananda receive in Shirdi that caused him distress?

According to Chapter 31, upon arriving in Shirdi, the sannyasi Vijayananda met Swami Somdevji of Haridwar. Vijayananda asked about the journey to Mansarovar, and the Swami's reply caused him great distress. Swami Somdevji explained that Mansarovar was five hundred miles away, there was heavy snowfall, the local language changed frequently, and outsiders faced significant hardship. Hearing this news from the Swami's mouth made the sannyasi dejected and immersed him in worry about the feasibility of his pilgrimage.
