What if I ask about a specific saint, but you can't find their name in the Sai Satcharitra? What's the protocol?

While the Sai Satcharitra may not mention every saint by name, its core teaching encourages us to look beyond individual forms and names. Chapter 50 advises that the reader, the act of reading, and the subject should be seen as one unified state. Hemadpant, the author, is described as merely a nominal cause, with Sai himself being the true speaker and the one to be heard. The ultimate goal is to attain a "natural state" (Sahaj-sthiti) of non-dual devotion, where distinctions like "I" and "You" cease to exist. Therefore, instead of focusing on a name that may not be present, we are guided to perceive the essence of Sai in the teachings and cultivate steady devotion, which is considered the supreme attainment.
