What happened with the women who tried to take the flour Baba ground, and what does their experience teach us about impatience and greed versus Baba's compassion?

📖 Chapter 1

The incident with the women serves as a powerful lesson. As described in Chapter 1, four women rushed into the mosque, took the grinding handle from Baba, and began to grind with him while singing his praises. However, their minds soon turned greedy as they anticipated taking the flour for themselves, "building castles in the air." When the grinding was done and they started to divide the flour into four parts, Baba's demeanor changed. He asked if they had gone mad and were trying to take their father's property, shaming them for their greed. Chapter 1 states, "The women were very upset; they were humiliated because of their greed." This contrasts sharply with Baba's true, compassionate motive, which was to save the entire village from a cholera epidemic. Their impatience and greed blinded them to the larger, selfless act unfolding, demonstrating that selfish desires can prevent one from understanding divine plays.
