According to Chapter 36 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, two gentlemen from Goa came for Sai Baba's darshan. Although they arrived together, Baba treated them differently regarding Dakshina (monetary offerings). He specifically asked for and accepted fifteen rupees from one of them. However, when the second gentleman voluntarily offered thirty-five rupees, Sai Baba immediately rejected the offering. This apparent partiality surprised everyone present, including Madhavrao (Shama), who proceeded to question Baba about why he would accept money from one friend but refuse a larger, freely given amount from the other.
What happened with the two gentlemen from Goa who came to see Sai Baba, and why did it cause confusion?
