What happened with the scorpion during the Ramayana reading?

During a nightly reading of the Bhavartha Ramayana by Kakasaheb Dixit, a scorpion mysteriously appeared and sat on the author's right shoulder. As Chapter 22 describes, everyone was engrossed in the story when the author noticed the creature on his upper cloth. It was sitting perfectly still, as if absorbed in the holy tale. Instead of panicking or killing it, the author, feeling protected by Hari and guided by Rama's grace, carefully rolled the scorpion into his cloth and released it outside. He notes that Baba's command not to kill also influenced his actions, preventing him from harming the naturally terrifying creature.
