What happened with the khaja offering, and how did it affect Laxmichand?

πŸ“– Chapter 28

The incident with the khaja illustrates Sai Baba's divine leela. According to Chapter 28, a devotee had a lingering desire for khaja (a sweet). On the third day of the visit, devotees went to the masjid and asked Baba what naivedya (food offering) He would like. Maharaj specifically ordered them to bring a plate full of khaja. Later, after the arati, Baba announced to all the devotees that He felt like having khaja prasad. As a result, two bowls full of khaja were brought and served. For Laxmichand, who was also hungry, this was a profound experience. The text states, "Laxmichand's attachment was fulfilled; joy arose in his heart," marking a turning point where his devotion to Baba became deeply established.
