What happened with the guavas (perus) when Laxmichand was traveling to Shirdi?

📖 Chapter 28

While traveling to Shirdi, Laxmichand and his companion intended to buy guavas, or perus, in Kopargaon as an offering for Sai Baba. However, as Chapter 28 describes, they became enchanted by the scenery at the Godavari bank and completely forgot to buy them. Miraculously, an old woman was later seen running behind their tanga with a basket of perus. They stopped for her, and she not only sold them the fruit but also asked that some be offered to Baba on her behalf, leaving Laxmichand and his friend amazed at this coincidence.
