What happened with Sai Baba's cough that made Laxmichand believe Baba could read his mind?

This was the second major incident that proved Sai Baba's omniscience to Laxmichand. During one of his visits, Laxmichand was watching the Chavadi procession at night when he noticed Baba developing a cough. A thought arose in Laxmichand's mind that the cough might be the result of someone's evil eye. This was a completely private, internal thought. However, as Chapter 28 recounts, when Laxmichand went to the masjid the following morning, he overheard Baba speaking to Madhavrao. Baba said, "Yesterday I had much coughing; is this the effect of an evil eye? It seems someone's evil eye has struck me." Hearing Baba repeat his own secret thought from the previous night left Laxmichand in a state of wonder, confirming his belief that Baba dwells in everyone's heart and knows their innermost thoughts.
