What happened when two men from Goa offered Dakshina to Sai Baba, and how did Shama react?

In an incident detailed in Chapter 36 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, two gentlemen from Goa came for darshan. Sai Baba asked one of them for fifteen rupees as Dakshina, which the man gladly gave. When the second man, unasked, offered thirty-five rupees, Sai Baba immediately rejected it. This created a surprising situation for the onlookers. The text mentions that Madhavrao, also known as Shama, was present and witnessed this apparent partiality. Seeing this, and noting the surprise of everyone there, Shama directly asked Sai Baba to explain why he had accepted money from one devotee but refused it from the other.
