What happened when two gentlemen from Goa visited Sai Baba, and how did he treat their offerings?

According to the account in Chapter 36 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, two gentlemen from Goa came together for Sai Baba's darshan. Though both surrendered at his feet, Baba's interaction with them was peculiar. He specifically requested and accepted a Dakshina of fifteen rupees from one of the men. However, when the second gentleman offered thirty-five rupees of his own accord, Sai Baba immediately rejected the offering. This apparent partiality was surprising to all who were present, including Madhavrao (Shama), who then asked Baba for an explanation.
