What happened when the two gentlemen from Goa visited Sai Baba, and why was Shama confused?

According to Chapter 36 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, two gentlemen from Goa came for Sai Baba's darshan. Although they arrived together, Baba's interaction with them was notably different. He specifically asked one of the men for fifteen rupees in Dakshina, which the man gave joyfully. However, when the second man voluntarily offered thirty-five rupees, Sai Baba immediately rejected the offering. This apparent partiality greatly surprised everyone present, including Madhavrao, also known as Shama. Shama directly questioned Baba, asking why he would accept money from one friend while refusing a larger, voluntary offering from the other, causing the second man disappointment.
