When two gentlemen from Goa came for Sai Baba's darshan, a very curious event occurred regarding their offerings. As detailed in Chapter 36 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, both men surrendered at Baba's feet. However, Sai specifically requested and accepted a Dakshina of fifteen rupees from only one of them. When the second man, of his own accord, tried to offer thirty-five rupees, Baba immediately rejected it. This action caused great surprise among the onlookers, including his close devotee Madhavrao (Shama), who was prompted to question Baba's seemingly partial behavior.
What happened when the two gentlemen from Goa came to see Sai Baba, and how did Baba treat their offerings?
