What happened when the Sanyasi returned to Dahanu after being told to come back later?

About a month after his first visit, the Sanyasi returned to Dahanu in a tonga. As recounted in Chapter 40, he went to Dev's house around ten in the morning. This time, however, he did not ask for money for his cow protection fund. Instead, he surprised Dev by stating, "I haven't come for money; today we want a meal." He also informed Dev that he had two companions with him. Dev, despite his earlier reservations, agreed and invited the Sanyasi and his companions to have a meal at his home around noon.
