What happened when the author of the Satcharitra left a scripture reading unfinished to go see Baba?

📖 Chapter 18

Chapter 18 recounts a personal incident where the author, Hemadpant, experienced Baba's insistence on completing spiritual practices. While engrossed in reading the Bhagavat, he heard that a group was heading to the Masjid and, desiring to hear Baba's stories, he put the book aside and ran to join them. However, upon his arrival, it was clear that Baba was not pleased. The text explains that in Baba’s mind, there was 'no satisfaction other than the Bhagavat, which had been left in distress.' For this reason, Baba insisted that Hemadpant return and finish reading the remaining part of the text. This event highlights the immense importance Baba placed on the disciplined and complete reading of these holy books.
