What happened when the author of the Satcharita interrupted his reading to go see Baba?

📖 Chapter 18

Chapter 18 recounts a personal incident where the author, Hemadpant, experienced Baba's insistence on completing sacred readings. The author was reading the Bhagavat when the group he was with decided to go to the Masjid. Eager to hear Baba's stories, he put his book aside mid-story and ran to join them. However, Baba was not pleased with the interruption. The text states that in Baba's mind, "there was no satisfaction other than the Bhagavat, which had been left in distress." For this reason, Baba insisted that the author go back and read the remaining part of the book. The author recalls this as a great marvel, overflowing with love when remembering how Baba guided him back to the scripture.
