What happened when Sai Baba asked Das Ganu to organize a Name-week, and what promise did Baba make?

As recounted in Chapter 4, Sai Baba loved the chanting of God's name and once ordered Das Ganu to organize a Name-week, or Saptah. Das Ganu agreed on the condition that Lord Vitthal must appear as a result. In response, Sai Baba placed his hand on his chest and gave a firm promise, saying, "Yes, yes, the form of Vitthal will appear! But the devotee must be full of faith." Baba emphasized that one need not go far to see God, as Shirdi itself was a holy city. He assured Das Ganu that Vitthal would appear right there out of intense love for the devotee. The chapter confirms that Das Ganu did receive a sight of Vitthal at the end of the Saptah.
