What happened when Kashiram encountered robbers, and why was a small bundle of sugar so important to him?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 0

While returning from a market, Kashiram was attacked by Bhil robbers. According to Chapter 0, the robbers took some of his belongings without resistance. However, Kashiram fiercely protected a small bundle that the thieves thought contained treasure. In reality, it held only powdered sugar. This bundle was precious to Kashiram because a saint named Janakidas Baba had advised him to feed sugar to ants. He was so committed to this simple act of service that he decided he would not let the bundle go. In the struggle, he killed two thieves before being struck with an axe and left unconscious.
