What happened when Gopalrao Gund attempted to rebuild the Masjid, and what became of the materials he gathered?

Gopalrao Gund, a devotee of Maharaj, saw that the Masjid was dilapidated and decided he should rebuild it. He went so far as to collect a large number of stones for this purpose. However, as detailed in Chapter 0, Maharaj did not give him permission to proceed with the reconstruction of the Masjid. Instead, Maharaj commanded that the work was meant for another devotee and that the stones Gund had collected should be used for a different purpose. Following Maharaj's command, these stones were used to build the Shani temple and to renovate other temples within the village, demonstrating Maharaj's broader vision for the community's sacred spaces.
