What happened when Amir Shakkar got tired of staying in the Chavadi?

While Amir stayed for a long time, he did eventually grow weary of the confinement. Chapter 22 explains that after nine months, the stay began to feel like a prison to him, and the thought 'Enough of this prison!' arose in his mind. Desiring freedom, he acted on this impulse and left the Chavadi without getting Baba's permission. He abandoned his regular place and went to Kopergaon, where he stayed in a Dharmashala. It was there that he immediately encountered a dying Fakir who was afflicted by thirst, setting the stage for another miraculous event.
