Once the food in the Handi was fully cooked, a specific procedure was followed for its distribution. Chapter 38 describes that Baba would first have the food brought into the Masjid. A 'Fatya,' or consecration prayer, was then formally offered by a Maulvi. After this blessing, the very first portions of the 'Prasad' (blessed food) were sent to Mhalasapati and Tatya. Following that, Baba would personally serve all the remaining food with his own hands, giving special attention to the poor and weak. He found great joy and contentment in satisfying the hungry and would affectionately insist they take more, ensuring everyone ate to their full satisfaction.
What happened to the food from the Handi after it was cooked? How was it distributed among the people?
