What happened to Sapatnekar when he first tried to get Sai Baba's darshan?

Initially, Sapatnekar had a very distressing experience with Sai Baba. As detailed in the Shri Sai Satcharitra, whenever Sapatnekar went for Darshan and bowed, Baba would rebuke him with the words "Chal Hat." This repeated rejection left Sapatnekar deeply troubled, making him wonder about his past deeds and why Baba seemed angry only with him while treating others with love. He felt as though his karma had peaked, causing Baba's displeasure. Despite the constant rebuffs and his inner turmoil, he made a firm resolution to stay in Shirdi until he received Baba's grace, as recounted in Chapter 48.
