What happened to Kashiram after he was attacked by thieves, and how did he recover?

After being attacked by thieves and left for dead, Kashiram regained consciousness. Chapter 0 recounts that he had such complete faith in Maharaj (Sai Baba) that he refused to go to a hospital for treatment. Instead, he insisted on being taken to Shirdi. Upon his arrival, Maharaj instructed Madhavrao Deshpande to treat him. By Maharaj's grace, Kashiram's health improved, and he recovered fully. For his courageous actions during the fight, the Bombay government later presented him with a sword as a gift. This entire episode, from his survival to his recovery, is portrayed in Chapter 0 as a direct result of Sai Baba's divine intervention and protection.
