What happened to Kashiram after he was attacked by thieves and brought to Shirdi?

After surviving a brutal attack by thieves, Kashiram demonstrated immense faith in Maharaj. According to Chapter 0, he refused to go to a hospital and insisted on being taken to Shirdi. Upon his arrival, Maharaj gave instructions for Madhavrao Deshpande to treat him. Through this care and, as the text states, 'by Maharaj's grace,' Kashiram's health improved and he recovered. For his bravery in fighting the thieves, he later received a sword as a gift from the Bombay government. He went on to live for some years after the incident, eventually passing away in Shake 1830.
