What happened to Kashiram after he was attacked and left for dead?

Although the thieves thought Kashiram was dead, he was only unconscious. After regaining consciousness, he refused to go to a hospital, insisting instead on being taken to Shirdi due to his strong faith in Maharaj. As recounted in Chapter 0, upon his arrival in Shirdi, he was treated by Madhavrao Deshpande under Maharaj's instructions. By Maharaj's grace, Kashiram's health improved, and he recovered. For his brave act of fighting the thieves, the Bombay government even gifted him a sword. He went on to live for several more years after this incident.
