What happened to Hemadpant, the original author of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, and why couldn't he finish the book?

According to Chapter 53, the original author, Panta Hemad (also known as Hemadpant or Annasaheb), passed away suddenly before he could complete the book. He had promised in the previous chapter to provide a summary and conclude the work, but his unexpected death left this task undone. The text explicitly states, "Hemad suddenly passed away, leaving everyone’s heart grieved." While the general rule is for an author to complete their own book, the chapter notes this as an exception, attributing the turn of events to Baba's will being more powerful than human intentions. This left the final chapter and the crucial summary incomplete.
