What happened to Hemadpant, the original author of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, and why couldn't he complete the book with a summary as he intended?

Hemadpant, also known as Dabholkar, had promised to conclude the Shri Sai Satcharitra with a summary, but as Chapter 53 explains, this did not come to pass. The chapter states that he suddenly passed away, leaving his work unfinished and grieving the hearts of many. The text frames this as an example of divine will, noting, "Nothing happens by one's own will; Baba’s will is more powerful." His son, Gajanan, later provided his father's extensive records, which were written on scraps of paper, but the promised summary was not found among them, necessitating a new author to complete the task.
